Project Description

The Contract is for the Design/Build of a 28,000 square foot addition to two existing Aircraft Maintenance Hangers. The building construction consists of concrete foundations, slab on grade, structural steel frame with metal siding and EPDM roof. Also included are the removal of the existing hanger doors and fascia and the installation of two new 70 feet high by 250 feet wide hanger doors. Hanger door modifications are also being made to a third Aircraft Maintenance Hanger. Exterior site work includes the relocation of existing utilities, installation of new security fencing and the removal and replacement of the concrete aircraft-parking apron.
