SAI was awarded this “best value” firm fixed price contract to construct a new fuel barge unloading, fuel storage and distribution system on San Clemente Island located approximately 60 mile off the cost of southern California.

The work includes extensive site work including the removal of 104,000 cy of coral rock, construction of three 100,000 gallon above ground bulk fuel storage tanks, pumphouse/fuel control building, two 75,000 gallon above ground fire water tanks, truck loading facility and a 7,100 lf above ground fuel pipeline between the barge unloading area and the new bulk fuel storage area.
