Project Description

SAI was awarded a firm fixed price contract to perform the construction of a new multiple pump 3,000-gpm Type III aircraft fueling system at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC, using 100% design provided by the Navy.

Our scope of work included a new pump house and control building; 29,000 lf of welded 12” carbon steel and stainless steel underground fuel distribution piping; 14 railcar unloading stations; and 10 pantograph aircraft fueling stations.

All work was completed on an active military airfield.
